Another reason people love Siesta Key is quaint Siesta Key Village, or as locals call it, simply" The Village".  The Village is distinct in its beach feel and casual atmosphere. Although a few hidden restaurants provide upscale, fine dining, most restaurants serve up casual meals where flip flops, sandy feet and shorts are welcome. The Village has little stores, souveniir boutiques and ice cream parlors. Kids love strolling the length of the Village, which is less than a mile.  The Village starts on the corner of Ocean Blvd. and Beach Rd., and is just steps away from The Shells Villa. View Map.
